The Department of Biology and its members are dedicated to cultivating the next generation of biologists through exceptional education and innovative research.
Our faculty boasts a diverse range of expertise that encompasses the full spectrum of life sciences, from the intricate mechanisms of cellular biology to the complexities of ecological systems. In addition, our department prides itself on interdisciplinary collaboration, integrating knowledge from biotechnology and scientific communication to enhance our curriculum. Our biology graduates are among the most prepared in the world for careers in fields from health to conservation and everything in between.
